Four realTQR stations were positioned throughout the home. Two by the front door, welcoming prospective buyers, introducing the Interactive Showing experience and showing what it’s like to live on King Edward and enjoy its street festival.

One was placed in the kitchen, giving prospective buyers a sneak peek into living near Woodbine and Danforth. Finally, one station was placed in the basement to highlight the sauna and its service history. Two additional highlights were only accessible within the digital experience (not every highlight needs a dedicated QR code!).

That weekend, King Edward Avenue was packed with would-be buyers, anxious to beat the spring market. Four listings were scattered across King Edward Avenue at numbers 7, 20, 163, and 225. The realTQR-enabled house sold first, having been on the market for only 7 days. The property at 163 sold one day later for just under what our house sold for, despite being larger and having more recent upgrades. The property across the street (20) sold two days later. Over a month later, 225 was still on the market.

Many factors affect the speed and price of a property sale. But adding Interactive Showings to your listing is good for everyone:

  • Realtors gain a unique way to win more listing presentations
  • Owners get a stage to showcase their hard work and investments
  • Buyers can learn about and connect with their future home

“Interactive Showings are a great addition to the marketing services we offer sellers. They’re impressed with this unique and cutting-edge technology. The market is very competitive and we need every advantage at our disposal.”
