Professionally redone by The Cutting Edge Roofing, this roof was designed to last and perform. Premium 50-year shingles were installed, offering not only extended durability but also future savings and peace of mind for decades to come.
Careful attention was paid to every detail. Custom flashing was expertly fitted around the skylight, chimney, and all exhaust pipes to prevent leaks and extend the life of the structure. To improve ventilation and protect against humidity and temperature fluctuations, four additional roof vents were added. Inside, the roof was insulated with spray foam, significantly enhancing the home’s energy efficiency and reducing heat loss through the attic.
To further modernize the system, the owners installed an electric roofing fan with a thermostat, allowing attic temperatures to be regulated more effectively year-round. In addition to the roof itself, the gutters were cleaned, and the northern downspout was expanded from 2 to 3 inches to improve drainage and reduce the risk of water damage around the foundation.
